What is izzy?

izzy is a travel hair tool rental service. We rent EU-compatible Shark FlexStyle tools so you can have great hair at your destination without worrying about voltage issues.

Why not just bring my U.S. hair tool?

Most U.S. styling tools are not dual voltage, so they usually will not work properly abroad and can permanently break. Also, have you seen hotel hair tools?😭

What comes with my rental?

Each rental includes an EU-compatible Shark FlexStyle, selected attachments, and an izzy travel pouch. A plug adapter (for non Type C plugs) is not included. 

Where does izzy ship from?

All izzy orders are cleaned, packed, and shipped personally from Los Angeles.

When will my order arrive?

Your rental is shipped before your trip so it arrives in time for departure. Timing depends on the shipping option selected at checkout. We recommend booking your izzy 2 days before your trip departure.🛫

Where can I use it?

Our current tool works in mainland Europe, the UK, Australia, and select countries in Asia, Oceania, and Africa. See product page for full country list 🌍

Is this a deposit or a rental?

It is a rental. You use it for your trip and send it back when you are home. Please read our Rental Agreement at checkout to see costs for damage, loss etc.

How do returns work?

Returns are simple. Use the included return instructions and send it back after your trip.

What if my tool arrives damaged or is not working?

Please try your tool within 12 hours of arriving at your destination and contact us right away if there is an issue.

What if I damage or lose something?

Customers are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear. Specific replacement fees are listed in our Rental Agreement.

Do you sanitize the tools?

Yes. Every tool is cleaned, sanitized, and quality-checked before it goes out.

Can I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at hello@rentizzy.com and we will do our best to assist. Izzy is not liable for costs incurred for trip delays or cancellations.
